Hello friends old and new!
I'm terrible about updating this thing. Just a small note to let everyone know I'm not dead, just busy. This summer has been great, with many new projects and some much-needed time-off. I spent a wonderful week horseback riding at a ranch upstate NY, and this is the result (along with some other WIPs):

Hope everyone had a great summer!

Happy 2021!
Many, many apologies to all my watchers and friends for neglecting my gallery and all of you for so long! I was having issues with the new interface so I didn't update for a while, then I was procrastinating, then I was swamped... ...And then 2020 happened. :wtf: Strangely enough, as tough emotionally and psychologically as this past year has been, to me and my family it has also proven to be a blessing in disguise. The lockdown completely destroyed my husband's 25-year, very successful business. We could no longer afford to stay in NYC. So we made the scary but inevitable decision to leave everything behind. So I've been a Floridian since mid-July, living in a small town outside Orlando. It wasn't unfamiliar territory because we have family here, and have visited many times. Still, the move was incredibly hard on me, not just because of the expense and stress of it, but also because I had to leave a place I'd called home for 26 years. I thought I'd be a New Yorker for life.
Many thanks!
Thank you so much everyone who took the time to wish me a Happy Birthday! It means a lot!

Not a lot of news to report on, I admit I haven't been coming to DA as much as I should, but I do appreciate all the likes, comments and watches. You guys rock!
This weekend I'll be participating in 100th Sketchfest: http://www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/sketchfest/ I haven't been a member since the beginning, but it's been a few years that I've been a part of it, and it's such a great creative outlet. This event is your chance to win some great prizes from a number of artists. You don't have to be an artist to participate - you can g
Forgive me DA, for I have sinned...
...by not updating my journal for almost a year. Mea culpa.
I have not been coming to DA as much, to be honest, because it's changing in ways I don't like. Too many things to get into in detail. That said, I haven't forgotten my watchers, and whether you've been watching for a while or for a few days or just started, I love you all and appreciate every single comment, fave, and feature.
This year has been about a change of direction for me. On personal front there have been some changes with my neighborhood that affected my standard of life and creativity in a negative way, and it's likely I'll be moving, maybe even to a completely differen
Happy New Year!
Whether you watch me or are just passing by, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and I want to wish you a very Happy New Year 2017!
This has been a very productive year for me. I joined two art collectives, became a regular participant at Sketchfest, and completed the entire Inktober challenge (which was not easy but fun nevertheless). I've also done quite a bit of traveling, which isn't typical of me. Below are some of my pieces from this year:
Thank you for all your support throughout the year. It humbles and inspires me to know that my work is interesting enough for 3,246 people to have followed me. I might not be on here that often th
