Thanks. The scales aren't backwards, that's his butt up in the air, and his head is where the woman's hand is. This is actually referenced from a real wall relief in Kyoto (for the life of me, I can't remember the name, and this drawing is pretty old so I no longer have the reference photo).
Congrats on the DD. I love this peace, it's beautiful the way you've managed to get all of the different textures to work together. It almost doesn't look like a graphite drawing (more like a photograph).
