this is really pretty, dang
BEAUTIFULLY DONE. HOW COME U DO ORIENTAL CULUTRE KIND OF SUBJECT MATTER? YOU ARE NOT ASIAN . IS UR HUBBY ASIAN?
No, he's not. You don't have to be Asian to love and appreciate the culture.
This is gorgeous! I love the vibrancy of the colors and and the little hummingbirds. Her eyes are stunning and seem to be full of wonder. It's such a magical and remarkable piece
another wonderful piece!
OMG, so fucking beautiful! Soooo envy right now!
Is gorgeous! MJ - might I ask what is your preferred choice of colored pencils? (I'm getting back into the swing of using another medium like colored pencils - I have LOTS of prisma and another brand - Lyra I think)
Thank you so much! This is actually watercolor (no colored pencils here at all). But when I do use them it's usually a mix of regular Prismacolor, hard leads Prismacolor (called Berol Verithin) and Faber-Castell Polychromous. The hard leads are great for small details and blending.
Its lovely the watercolor! So vibrant! Any particular brand you favor? (me - Daniel Smith and Windsor Newton and then whatever is on
Another gorgeous drawing, Maria! Love the delicate texture of peony, and intense colours of humming birds. Just love it
This is stunning!
So bright and exotic! ..something thats missing in Russian winters so much!))
This is so beautiful! Great face and detail in the hair. Awesome colors. Stunning!
I love it. It's awesome how people can paint with aryl and ink. (I'm not really good in it)
Thanks! I'm not a fan of acrylics either, they dry too fast for my liking. This is mostly watercolor with white acrylic used for highlights and ink for linework.
